Description
Hand woven blanket wrap, beige cotton, weft black and red wool, red and black 3 part braid around outer edges, pattern shows warp on back, front shows alternate rows were "fluffed" up to create a slightly bumpy front, it is very heavy. 176 x 410 cm 70" x 160".;This pattern is woven with 2 shuttles and the thicker yarn is picked up on a rod to provide the thickness.;Located in the museum.
