Description
Wooden trunk with rope handles. Lined with printed paper, stickers on exterior. Length: 70 cm, 27.75". Width: 45 cm, 17.75". Depth: 28 cm, 11".;Located in the museum against the south wall.;The trunk was owned by Mary Eleanor (Nellie) Palin, who was a governess for the Averof family c. 1910-1918, specifically for Laura, who played with Princess Maria, who lived across the street. Nellie also collected a large number of textiles. The trunk was hers, which was brought from Greece to New Brunswick. Donated by family.
