23 cm 9" diameter doily probably raw linen embroidered in black and red cotton and white tatted edge.;collected by Mary Ellen Palin "Nellie" between 1910 and 1927 while English governess to Lavria Averof,could be a "sampler", small label "Greece round doily" attached with safety pin. Small label "11" attached with straight pin removed
