2 pairs of panels embroidered in floral motifs re-purposed as possible cushion cover. 1 panel 20 x 21 cm 8" x 8 1/4" have hand hemmed edges on 2 sides, selvage 3rd side and raw unfinished 4th side. 2nd panel 21 x 26 cm 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" with hand hemmed 2 sides, selvage 3rd side and 4th is raw. Both are un-embroidered for 5 cm 2" on raw side. They are stitched together with matching panels opposite and imperfectly matched.Loose black thread indicate pieces were stitched to something else at some time.There is some colour bleeding in one corner.;collected in Greece between 1910 and 1927 by Mary Ellen Palin "Nellie" English governess to Lavria Averof;displayed in Black Case B
